Thomas Noone Dance dancers biographies
| NÚRIA
MARTÍNEZ
(Choreographic assistant/dancer)
Barcelona 1974. Having studied Classical Ballet in Barcelona,
Núria Martínez went directly to the Dutch National
Ballet, where during four years she danced works by Balanchine,
Forsythe, Eagling, Toer Van Schayk,, Van Danzig, Jan Fabre, Selwyn
Norton and Ted Branson. After returning to Catalonia she worked
with Gelabert-Azzopardi, performing in Zum Zum Ka, Useless y L’Eveil
de les Objects. Since 2001 she has been both a company dancer
and choreographic assistant to Thomas Noone, performing the entire
company repertoire and staging his work for other companies.

Albanese
(Dancer)
Barcelona 1988 Having graduated from the Institut
del Teatre in Barcelona, she then danced in the graduate company
IT Dansa until 2007. She then moved to Holand and danced with
Galili Dance in Gronigen and then Dansgroep Amsterdam, directed
by Itzik Galili andKrisztina de Chatel.

ALBA BARRAL
(Dancer)
Lugo 1979 Having studied contemporary dance at the Arnhem Academy
in Holand Alba Barral has danced with Leine & Roebana, Suzy
Blok, Henrik Kaalund and Cia Senza Tempo.

ARNAU CASTRO
(Dancer)
Barcelona 1978. Arnau has deanced with contemporary
dance companies such as IT dansa or Metros in Barcelona as well
as Irish Modern Dance Theatre or Rex Levitates in Eire. He has
also danced in musical theatre including the shows Beauty and
the Beast or That's Jazz.

JERONIMO
FORTEZA
(Dancer)
Jeronimo trained with periods at Madrids Royal
Conservatory, the Royal Ballet School in London and the Paris
Conservatoire. He then began his professional career at the Ballet
Clàssic de València followed by Santamaria Companyia
de Dansa, the Schleswig-Holsteinisches Landstheater de Flensburg,
Alemanya, the Ballet de Teatres de la Generalitat Valenciana,
the Ballet Nacional de Portugal, the Alberta Ballet in Canada
and the Ballet de l'Òpera de Limoges, in France.

JAVIER
G AROZENA
(Dancer)
Santa Cruz de Tenerife, 1977. Javier studied
dance at the Centro Andaluz de Danza and finished his studies
as part of the graduate company of the same centre. In 2002 he
then joined Metros, directed by Ramon Oller where he danced for
seven years and formed part of the directive team.

Montes
(Dancer)
Barcelona, 1986. Trained in the Institut de Teatre
in Barcelona she then danced in the Institues postgraduate company,
IT Danza under the directotion of Catherine Allard. After this
she has freelanced in various porjects including Lanonima Imperial
in Barcelona and Philip Egli in Switzerland. |
